Well made lightweight breathable hat helps to keep you cooler in the hot sun. My son loves the hat. He is a very large man with shoe size 15 and 6″3.5″. This fits his head, but if you want to tighten it there is a way to tighten it easily. It is hard to find a hat that my son can actually wear, so I am thankful we found this one. It made a good gift. It keeps the sun off of your ears and neck so it is better than just a hat. Nice looking hat and great price. Nice quality too.

It’s a sun hat, not haute couture
I’m pretty happy with this hat. It’s not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it will do the job. This hat is not high fashion… I bought it for sun protection. It performed well. The material is light weight, something like a wind breaker or the material used to make umbrellas. The cape or flap in the back is made of a double layer of that fabric & the crown of the hat is made with a single layer. I wear a size 7 1/2 hat & this hat fit, somewhat snugly, but it fit. The brim is wide enough to protect my face from the sun. What I like about this hat is that the flap doesn’t obstruct my peripheral vision. Overall, I’m happy with this purchase.

Full Coverage Sun Hat for Big Heads
A good, although not terribly flattering, hat for people with big heads near 24 inches. Brim is great, definitely shads whole face, even walking towards sun. Neck cover decent, flaps some in wind, but wide enough for neck/nape and shirt hole coverage. Mildly warm in hot weather.Could use weight on bottom neck cover edge, and more flattering colors/patterns. But if you are.more concerned with actually blocking the sun, it’s great.Polyester fabric, have not tried washing yet.

No flap for ponytail! Not obvious from photos…
I ordered a two pack with the grey/tan for an upcoming beach vacation for my husband and I. I decided on the two pack for us and assumed there was a ponytail slit like the single pack options’ photos. This is not the case. When I look back at the photography, the two pack only shows the hats from the front so I didn’t realized the backs wouldn’t be the same as the singles, for essentially the same price hats. The hats are nicely made, but I really want a spot for my hair to go to get it off of my shoulders. I will be returning these for the ones with the ponytail options and will look at photos more carefully next time. This is why you order early so there’s time to adjust!

Having used a similar hat during hot weather in Australia thought it would be useful as UK summers are getting hotter and have more extreme UV. I like the neck cover, the adjustable strap and wide deep peak. It’s also light and comfortable to wear. Very useful for outdoor work and particularly gardening. It works for me!
