Hat is made from resistant, Oil Impregnated Cotton. The Knockabout can really take a beating. Made from a thinner, lightweight cotton material for maximum comfort. Mono-filament support embedded into the edge of the brim, allowing the hat to be crushed and maintain it’s distinctive curved styling. A great hat, it can be rolled-up / crushed and packed. It will protect you from the suns damaging rays and improve your look to boot! Hat brim is approximately 36cm (14″) front to back, tip to tip. Brim width is approximately 8cm (3″) from the crown to the tip. Crown height is approximately 10cm (4″) high. This will vary between sizes. – Hats are Hand-Made in Australia. Great hat! Style is really nice its not overly large witch is my main issues buying hats online. Extremely light and comfortable you’ll forget its on your head! The vent holes do a great job keeping you cool in the hot summer heat! since its canvas its a great value for the quality and is crushable making it extremely functional!

I have really liked these hats I have2 Breeze Hats black and brown. I decided to get 2 solids a Tan and black. My Tan hat arrived and it was stuffed in my mailbox I opened it and it wrapped fine but it looked like someone wore it before it came to me. The black one never arrived. The breeze hats are put together much better.

Excellent hat for those hot humid Florida days
This Akbura cattlemen style hat, hand made and shipped from Australia is a must for folks that need better shade than a baseball cap. Especially if you have skin cancer on your face. The hat fits comfortably on my head with chaffing. The size chart was spot on for the circumference measurement of my head. Not only is the hat stylish, it is a working hat that is light weight, and its best feature is the mesh top that immediately exhausts the heat off of your head as you sweat. The brim is a light weight leather material with an outer steel rim to hold its shape. It’s got a crocodile dundee look to it. Only down side, minor as it is that it did not come with lanyard holes for working in those hot Florida coastal winds. The hat was well worth the money and the wait for it to be shipped from down under to Florida where I hang my hat.

The hat came in a more than timely manner. The wax job on the material is super clean. It’s sooooo comfortable. The fit is just right and not tight. The brim is a little springy and it doesn’t hold shape to form it but that’s not a bad thing. I’m very happy with the craftsmanship of it

Overall I’m very happy with the hat. My size is right between 57cm/22.25″ and the Medium fits me perfectly. To be clear about oilskin since some reviewers seem confused – this is a fabric hat, NOT leather. The material is indeed thinner than leather. The hat has a microfilament brim “wire” to hold the original curve, but is not really re-shapeable. By the way, the brim seems a little curvier and wider than the photos suggest… the width on mine is around 2 3/4″ or 7cm.

i ordered the large hat because the measurements said i should it fits but a little loose a medium breeze will blow hat off my head i will have to add a cord to keep it onalso the hat feels a little sticky i am thinking this is from the waterproofing wax/oils used and will go away after a while*EDIT* the hats feel loose only because they are so light on your head they are comfortable and the sticky feel went away as expectedgreat hats if you reading this you should measure your size and buy some
