Nice, but wrinkled
This hat came flattened out and caused the wrinkling pictured. I have soaked it and am currently trying to straighten that little issue out. Other than that, it seems to be well-made and durable. If you don’t mind dealing with a wrinkled hat to begin with then go for it 🙂

I was ready to review this the first minute I opened the package.
I live in rural Texas, where if you don’t have on a western hat, you more than likely have on a ball cap. I am a ball cap nut. I was shopping for a new one and came across this. I really liked the sentiment of it and took a chance on the quality, just because of what it said. I did retire this year, so that part was appropriate. And the other sentiments were fine as well. But what makes me glad to review this cap is what I perceive the quality to be. It has the pre-washed appearance. I liked that. It is a deep fit cap. I insist on that, as opposed to one that sits too high and shallow on my head. It was soft, but the cotton was thick and cushy. The stitching looks good. It has a buckle/strap type of size adjustment, so it can be made to fit even my fat head. It was advertised as red, looked pink in its page, but it is actually burgundy in color, which I liked better than the other two possibilities. It instantly became my new favorite hat, out of the couple hundred of them that I have, (like most of my friends).

Great hat, well made, fits large head
The perfect sentiment for my husband…. “Retired, Not my problem anymore.” One size fits all is not always the case, but this hat does expand large enough for him, and he likes it. The hat is well made and has a metal slider for sizing. The embroidery is well done. I like this so much that I got one for my husband and one for myself. Great hats!

Fun conversation starter
