I have been wearing caps for the majority of my life. I saw this cap and the Scruffy Dog company and thought it looked promising for an American, good quality product. First glance at this cap I thought it looked awesome. Just what I was looking for. When it arrived, the story changed. Although I’ve only had this cap for a few days, the quality is ok at most, but for the price, I feel it should be better. The bill is pre_formed rounded, which is what I like, but when you tighten it up to your head, the sides start to cave in. This shows that the top part of the cap is weak already. I looked inside behind the logo, there is black loose material hanging off. Nothing shows cheap manufacturing of a cap more than the front inside of a cap. This is only going to get worse as the cap gets broken in. I feel like I was generous with the 3 stars. Maybe they will read this and fix there quality issue? Maybe not?

It’s a nice hat, and built like your average hat. I’m fairly particular about my ballcaps and this is a solid hat. I’d say the construction/design is somewhere between a trucker hat and an old school baseball cap. The front doesn’t ride as high as a trucker hat, but doesn’t lay snug across your forehead like a traditional ball cap. I dug the “Scruffy Dog” logo and messaging, though I honestly don’t know who they are or what they do as a company if they in fact are and do anything. I usually like to have a couple of ball caps around to wear when I’m doing various yard work. You know, the kind of hat you don’t care if it gets banged up and dirty. This hat fits that chore perfectly. Is it my favorite hat? No. Is it a good hat. Yes.

Looks great and the perfect denim hat. Only complaint is that it was so nice that my husband claimed it as soon as the package was opened. Now just need a scruffy dog hat for my scruffy dog lol.
