Wallaroo hats are great
This is my 3rd Walleroo hat. I expect to appreciate this hat as much as I do the others. The brim is wide enough to shield from the sun but not so wide as to be conspicuous. I hope it will pack as well as my other Walleroos.

Bought the hat for protection from the sun. Well made.But, I had to return it because it was too big for my head.

This is a good quality hat and it is cute! It does not serve the additional purpose I needed it for.I thought it would cover my face from the sun but it doesn’t. If you would like to purchase it for fashion and not for sun protection, it works.

I am so pleased with this Aspen hat from Wallaroo! I have been looking for years for a hat that would give me sun protection in the winter. If you’ve got sun sensitivity, it doesn’t stop when the weather gets cold! (On really cold days, I will probably wear ear muffs along with it.)I’m still getting used to the size: it’s very stylish and people notice you when you’re wearing it, so I have to get used to wearing it with confidence. You also pretty much have to commit to keeping it on the entire time you’re out and about. Not like you can shove it in a pocket or anything. But again, it’s so stylish and well-made, not made of cardboard as so many feel like at the stores. It came boxed very well too.I should mention that I have a very small head and also tried the petite Aspen in that rusty color, but I liked this stone color better and felt it would give more sun protection. Thank heavens for those inner ties that let me adjust how it fits.I hope to be able to purchase the black one as soon as they have more in stock. (EDIT: the petite black came back in stock and I purchased that one. I have to say it looks better proportionally on me, but this regular size is better for sun protection. So I will use this taupe one for when I’m out hiking or birding and wear the petite black when I’m wanting to look a bit nicer.)

Too big for petite person
Really wanted a winter hat. But this one is too big. Actually hits my back. Weird fit. It’s like it’s not shaped for an head. It’s actually uncomfortable. I’m a hat wearer. I’m not timid about sporting a hat and I know how to fit them. I have lots of hats of all styles. This one is all over too big for a petite gal. It was way too expensive and I wish I had returned it.
