    Efficient and durable
Love how big the cover is.

    Great product
The solar aspect of the device is so so. Even in the Florida Sun. You still are better off charging them but they have decent battery life and our positioned way better than clip fans. I have three of them. One I can be charging while I’m using the other

    Not bad
There’s some weight to it, just got to get use to it, kinda gave me a neck ache at first. Fan speed buttons a little hard to access. Wish companies would include USB charging blocks & the cord they came with could stand to be longer. Haven’t used our in a lot of sun yet so don’t know how well sun does at charging. Kinda wish there was, at least an option for four fans because if you wear backwards it feels real nice on neck. Sometimes the fan speed indicator on light, actually most of the time, continues blinking when you shut off. I’ve found while off, cycling through fan speeds button makes it stop. I usually only use the first fan speed, it seems to be enough & it’s quieter, which is an unforeseen consequence when using. if people try to talk to you while using, kinda hard to here them. Bonus, you get to work on your lip reading.

    Had with built in fans
This hat is absolutely awesome. It’s rechargeable and also charges with solar energy which is very convenient. The bun is extra wide so it provides full protection of head and neck. It is also very comfortable and well worth the money.

    Happy with my purchase
I was worried that it wasn’t going to fit or not be what it was described as BUT wow I absolutely love this hat fits great (even though I have a decent size head) fans work great (three speeds). I’m about to order a second one just to have it on hand. I truly suggest this hat.

Awful product & service from vendor 1 of 2 hats waiting for return label for second hat
Still waiting for the return label 5 days after refund request. Hat folded in plastic bag so tight it will not hold a shape, fans to heavy for brim to hold them so the flop down obstructing eye sight. Vendor says a return label will be sent within 5 days, still waiting it’s day 6 and no contact from vendor. Hat 2 still waiting for return label.

a Fan is a Fan is a Fan! Not a bad product, not a great product, just simply OKAY!
Let’s just reiterate this: the (minimal) cooling effect of this device is done with a SMALL FANS! Can a small fan cool you off? Yes and No! It depends on the circumstances. If you have any experience with small portable or hand-held battery powered fans, including spritzers, desk fans, neck fans, pocket fans, etc., you know that depending on the circumstances, they can offer moderate to minimal relief from hot temperatures. If you’re in a hot room, or outside on a hot summer day…a pocket fan can offer some relief–but it’s only the ‘motorized equivalent’ of fanning yourself with a paper fan.My opinion of ALL these devices is: they’re just ‘OKAY’. They offer ‘some relief’ in regards to cooling…but NOWAY can the tiny motor of a small battery powered fan compete with a bigger fan with a more powerful motor that is powered by being hooked to an electric outlet. And if you’re thinking this will cool you off the way an A.C. can…you’re just kidding yourself.Any fan used for cooling purposes can only cool you with the temperature of the air that it’s “surrounded by”. A fan blowing air from an enclosed environment with an A.C. is going to feel 50 times better than than a fan blowing 90 degree July heated air outdoors. I personally like portable battery powered fans, but I also accept the reality that the cooling abilities of these devices can be extremely limited.Having said that…let me state that I purchased the: “SOLAR VISOR DUAL FAN HAT”, the “DUAL FAN COOLING VEST”, as well as one of those “COOLING NECK FAN DEVICES” (that has both tiny fans as well as ‘cooling plates’ that offer an ‘ice-cooling effect’ when it makes contact with the skin on your neck) I wear ALL 3 of THESE DEVICES when I walk my dog in the outdoor summer heat. I look pretty ridiculous wearing all these gadgets, but i can tolerate the stares and jeers from neighbors if i get even just a little relief from the heat.BOTTOM LINE: ANY pocket fan provides better relief from hot temperatures INDOORS (especially if there’s A.C.), as opposed to OUTDOORS. I walk my dog early in the day before the sun reaches it’s zenith and the temperature rises, so these devices offer minimal cooling effects. But if you’re using a battery fan outdoors in 90 to 100 degree plus heat…these devices do next to nothing. I use the devices during light 20 to 40 minute walks in the mornings and late evenings and the cooling effects are minimal. But for those hoping to use these devices to provide relief in extreme outdoor summer heat conditions during intense extended sport and work activities…I personally don’t see them helping that much at all.Anyway, the specifics of the “SUN/SOLAR VISOR DUAL FAN COOLNG HAT”:The hat is shipped to you without the fans attached, but they are easily installed and can be pivoted to various angles to direct air flow to different parts of your face. The hat was comfortable to wear with nice flaps on the back to shade you, and shield the back of your neck from intense sunlight. There is a drawstring pullcord to tighten around your chin/neck to make the hat fit more securely. The front brim of the hat was kind of ‘droopy’…but I modified/fixed it by cutting a section of wire coat hanger and inserting it into the brim to give it a rigid support. The two fans are separate devices that have to be operated (turned on) independently. The motors have push buttons to cycle through 3 speeds. The fans are powered by rechargeable lithium batteries that are recharged via a usb cable. The fans can also be powered by switching to the optional ‘solar-powered’ feature where the fans are powered by tiny solar cells ontop of the hat when exposed to direct sunlight. One thing that should be obvious, (I didn’t realize this until I actually wore the hat), is that the fans of the device are only a few inches from your ears, so you have to listen to the ‘buzzing drone’ sound of the fan’s motors, which didn’t bother me–but some might find annoying. Sitting on the beach, or in the park, or doing light walks during hikes…these offer minimal to moderate relief from the heat. But during intense physical activity outdoors in extreme summer temperatures…the cooling, on a scale of 1 to 10, (with 10 being the coolest), the relief this offers is maybe between a 1 and 3. If you’re indoors or outdoors with mild temps, (or indoors with A.C., these things work great! But outdoors in 90 to 100 degree plus heat…this device can only blow the air surrounding it…which, (of course), is just HEATED AIR!Out of 5 stars…i give this device 2 and a half to 3 stars.

    Worked great
This hat kept my face cool in 100 degrees temp while cutting trees. Ran 3 hours on the battery charge and still had power left. Haven’t tried the solor charge but will tomorrow while fishing
